Rain all day left me wondering if there was going to be a ride, but it slacked off in the late afternoon, so a few of us made a go of it.
Bill S, Corey R, Mike P and myself made the ride. The rain was just lifting and the roads were still wet. I ended up being too hot in my rain jacket. Should have just used the wool.
The ride had a good climb heading out to Jefferson and one coming back. I was typically slow, but having fun. Descending Mountaindale Rd. with squeaky brakes was interesting.
About 400 yards from the end of the ride, Mike hit a brick and got a flat. He did a great job controling things until he stopped. Since we were so close to the end, he just walked it back. Pizza and a beer hit the spot.
