I think it depends on who's giving the seminars in your area. Lifespring gives a series of seminars; they're some kind of self-improvement thing. They each cost money, and they reportedly can pressure you into continuing with them, so look out for that. Also reportedly, once you're done with the seminars they may try pressuring you into working for the organization by teaching or whatnot. However, a friend of mine went through all the seminars, got a lot out of them, and didn't feel pressured at all. Maybe it was because he went to them in a different city from the person I heard about who had a bad experience. Maybe the local groups are run differently. Or maybe some people feel pressure when others don't.
