911 Board Experiences

During my tenure as a Board Member of the Preston County 911 Communications Center, we collectively sought to have all law enforcement, fire rescue, and emergency squad agencies on the same page: EFFICIENT, EFFECTIVE COOPERATION AMONG AGENCIES. I am proud to have served on a Board which goals surpassed the achievement to SERVE and PROTECT ALL citizens of Preston County. With cooperation, hard work and dedication, I look forward to bringing ideas and information that have been tested and researched from a different prospective to ensure the same for ALL Marion County citizens. With that in mind, as Marion County Sheriff, I will bring to the Marion County 911 Board suggestions and directives to create a more efficient means to save taxpayers dollars yet ensure the best quality in effective agency cooperation. Together we can make Marion County the example for all of West Virginia.

Relocating the DMV(Department of Motor Vehicles)to the Middletown Mall

I was instrumental in the moving of the Department of Motor Vehicles; drivers testing,operator's and photo renewal from the State Police office in Fairmont to the Middletown Mall. This move provided a safer location to conduct driver tests. The mall provides ample parking and allows the waiting public to stand inside out of the weather im a comfortable setting.
