FROM ME AND MY DREAM GIRL, DIANA

                               J. VINCENT MARTIN

I grew up in Brooklyn in the 1950's and early 60's. I joined the army when I turned seventeen. That was back in 63'. I guess you might say, I received my higher education in foxholes and bars. In fact, my favorite writer back then, was the guy who wrote, "Employees must wash their hands before leaving the restroom." At the end of 66', I was honorably discharged from army. From that point on, it's kind of a LONG STORY.

Well, anyway, twenty nine years later, I decided to become a writer. So I wrote four darn good books: Illegally Sane, Immortal Sin Rock and A Hard Place and Rite Of The Sword

Illegally Sane and Rock, and A Hard Place are mainstream fiction novels. I wrote them in colloquial Brooklynese. Rite of The Sword and Immortal Sin, I call historical literary fiction novels. Those of course, I wrote in ancient and literary colloquial Brooklynese.

After spending four years writing these tales, I decided that this might be a good time to share them with the public. So, hey, I'm working on it!

Now my writings of course are based on my own weird personal experiences. Hence, I like to think of my particular genre as plain old darn interesting stories with unusual endings. In fact, remember that LONG STORY, I mentioned? Well, in one way or another, that's what my tales are really all about. That's why I haven't bothered to make this a three thousand page bio.
