This tractor was purchased in the fall of '94. It was completely disassembled and rebuilt from the ground up. It's pretty much original except for a conversion to a 12 volt electrical system with Delco alternator. The rear wheels are 12x24 with 14.9x24 Armstrong turf tires which gives about the same height as the original ag tires but a lot more width. The front end has '36 Ford car hubs with some old stock car wheels and G78 car tires to be easy on the grass during sharp turns. It has a Monroe E-Z ride seat (original accessory), footfeed pedal, pto shifter extension, a cyclone air cleaner, Pertronix electronic ignition, and a few other refinements. The Woods belly mower does a beautiful job finish cutting the grass. We've got 1200+ hours of mowing time on this tractor since it was finished in the summer of '95 with no problems of any kind.

One starter drive was the only part to fail on this tractor in almost 13 years of mowing

It takes some BIG turf tires to provide the traction needed to mow our steep hills

The Woods model L503 belly mower does an excellent job

Just like driving a big Cub Cadet....

Mowing up a hill (that's steeper than it looks) is easy
for the 8N. But don't try this on wet grass. Trust me.
