There are links to the
Laws of the Game of Soccer and references, as well as links to
helpful or authoritative sources of
law
interpretation and soccer referee discussions. There are
links to FIFA and regional confederations.
If you're traveling and want
to make contacts or arrange to referee, or just want to see how referees
elsewhere do it, the Referee Connections
section includes Referee links -- International,
Referee
links -- USA, and Tournaments.
Our Arbitrary
Individuals section has information about role models and ordinary
folks who referee. There are links to Great
referees, good referees and others in the news, Pages
By and About Soccer Referees, and referees' Photo
Albums.
A competitive marketplace for
Referee
Gear will help us get better quality and lower prices. There
are links for Soccer Referee Uniform
vendors and catalogs, a separate collection for
Whistles,
as well as Accessories and other items.
Education
can help us improve our refereeing, understand reffing and the game, and
sometimes it's just interesting. You can try some Ref
quizzes, subscribe to Magazines for soccer
referees, buy
Books, Videos
and CD-Roms for Soccer Referees, look into Science
and refereeing, or learn something about the History
and philosophy that make soccer what it is. There are Ideas
from FIFA and the IFAB, other websites to stimulate your Thinking
about refereeing, and links to "Arbitrary"
Curiosities, Ideas, Facts and Humor.
We have News
for Referees, including the Anti-ref
Crime News WebLog and links to reports about Whiners
and complainers in the news. And
in other news, .... you can read about the activities of referees
or things that affect refs. Some people prefer to get the information
themselves, so here are a few selected Soccer
News Sources.
Taking
care of business and ourselves can be easier with some useful Computer
Software for Referees, and it's a good thing to have an understanding
of Match fees in the wider marketplace. Sports
Medicine for Soccer Referees can help you work better, avoid or
treat those injuries that befall us.
Finally, even this site has
a few odds and ends of Links collections and selected
soccer links to offer. There are Worldwide
links, some US links, and MWSRA's
local links (the acorn from which this page grew.)
I search and surf the net often, looking for new links of interest to referees, but I always welcome pointers to things that should be included in the page. Please don't hesitate to email me at JKGordon@WorldNet.ATT.netand tell me about things that might be included. As you can imagine, the number of links -- over 1,200 as of February 1, 2001 -- makes the maintenance of this page an enormous logistical task, and a small percentage of dead links becomes a significant number. Please let me know about dead, incorrect, or changed links. Despite the errors herein, the collection is presented as a service to referees, with the promise of further improvements.
