This early 40's monochrome photo was damaged by ball point pen.
This small photo had suffered severe damage in over 70 years of handling.
A significant missing corner and multiple folds and scratches
called for technical and creative repair and restoration.
This photo represents medium restoration due to multiple scratches, marks and white
spots, and a significant tear.
This Civil War era image is also monochrome, with actual size about 8 X
10 in. Condition is heavy-group restoration. Interestingly, this original was actually a photo of a photo in a frame. The frame
was held on a shelf by a nail, visible in the original. These
impressions affected the restoration very little.
This is an example of what can be done with an oval, convex-mounted photo, 17 x 12
in. in size. Medium restoration.
This is an example of color restoration for a faded photo.
Before and after of a severe damage example, with missing faces, ears, eyes and one
nose. Background and foreground also repaired.
This small photo had suffered heavy damage, including a tear and discoloration, apparently
from liquid spill.
This is an example of restoration of a Civil War Army document. Medium to heavy
restoration. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
