I purchased this 1/6 scale resin Catwoman kit at a science-fiction convention in Philadelphia over a decade ago. Like so many others, it's been sitting tucked away in the closet since.

I do not know who the sculptor or original producer of this kit was. The excellent quality of the sculpting was a stark contrast to the mediocre quality of the casting. The kit had pronounced seams and defects caused by air pockets trapped in the casting process. These required a bit of extra effort to eliminate, and ultimately required that the seams of her cat suit be scribed back in. Once that was accomplished the villainous feline was ready for painting. Her hair and face were painted with multiple washes of acrylic paints. I used Testor's Pearl Black Metallic enamel paint to simulate the glossy, glittery appearance of her ears, mask, and cat suit.

With a little effort this somewhat less than stellar casting was ultimately finished into a beautiful rendition of one of television's favorite villains.
