Ohio Chapter Air Force Museum Meet
October 19, 2002

PCS

Ohio Chapter Members lined their cars up at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Museum. While the weather kept a number of cars at home in garages, the meet was well attended by members of Ohio, Indiana, and Northland Chapters.

New Ohio Chapter member Casey Borders drove to his first Ohio Chapter meet in his 1984 Eureka Oldsmobile.

This Model T-Ford ambulance on display at the museum exemplifies the battlefield role of professional cars.

The smallest of all Air Force Ones this twin engine commuter aircraft served as an airborne limousine for short flights.

Air Force One normally performs the dual role of Presidential airborne limousine and command center. This aircraft was modified by workers using handsaws to remove a bulkhead so that it could perform the sad duty of transporting President Kennedy's body from Dallas, effectively making it an airborne hearse.
