This seems to be the mildest winter we have had in a while, but maybe I'm spending more time outside this year. Temps in the 40(F)s, but a bit of a breeze to make if feel cooler.

I did sort of a figure eight loop through Unionville, among the rolling hills of the eastern county. It I ride a lot over here because of its proximity to home. I hope as the year progresses to go further afield.

Unionville Rd.
Buffalo Rd.
Black Ankle Rd. starts out as chip seal....
... But eventually turns to dirt.
Mmmm. I love gravel roads.
Back into Unionville past this neat restoration.
Down Woodville Rd. I'm heading towards the tree capped hilltop in the center of the photo.
The view from the top. Looks like more houses soon.
The other side of the hill, looking north-west to the mountains. The view is worth the climb up Emerson Burrier Rd.
A wise old tree next to an old springhouse along Dollyhyde Rd.
The view towards Libertytown from Dollyhyde Rd.

Plenty of time to get the ride in and home for chores.
