Woodstock Weavers Guild
  Our Guild serves Members throughout
northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.

Woodstock, located in McHenry county in northeastern Illinois, is a picturesque, small town containing interesting shops and historical sites.

With a park-like village square, Woodstock is a favorite place to visit. Woodstock and it's Square were featured in the movie, Groundhog Day.

Woodstock has the Woodstock Opera House, erected in 1899, which hosts a spectacular variety of programming and events each year including: concerts, theatre, dance, visual art, educational programming, and more.   The Opera House is one of the oldest continuously operating theatres in the country and one of the most recognized historic theatres in the mid-west.

Also, in Woodstock is the Old Courthouse Arts Center which was constructed in 1857, is a classic brick structure designed by one of the country's most prominent architects.   Much of its historic space is now occupied by the Old Court House Art Center's unique galleries.

Each year, the Woodstock Weavers Guild presents it's annual Show during October in the Arts Center.   2007 brings our special 10th Anniversary Show with the Hollow Tree Spinners.

Woodstock has a variety of good restaurants, as well as fast food outlets.   And, each summer, a Farmer's Market is on the Square on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Join us for a Woodstock Weavers Guild Meeting, held the first Wednesday of each month from September through June beginning at 9:30am; then spend the rest of the day taking in Woodstock and enjoying all that it has to offer.
