Woodstock Weavers Guild Newsletter

The Email containing a copy of the electronic Newsletter will be titled: 'WWG – Newsletter for March 2008', with the appropriate date shown.

The actual electronic Newsletter will be an attachment in using Adobe .pdf [portable document format] and will look similar to the Attachment 1 image shown below, assuming you have a Microsoft Windows PC.

Left click on the underlined attachment name, and a window similar to the one below will be displayed.

Click the 'Open' button, and the Newsletter will open in a new window using your Adobe .pdf viewer.   If you have a problem opening the .pdf file, see Members Only on the WWG Website for information on acquiring a free viewer.

OR

Click the 'Save' button an you will see a window similar to that shown below, which will store a copy locally on your PC for later and future viewing.

Here, you can 'navigate' to the location where you want to save the Newsletter.   As an example, you could create a new directory called WWG and Save the Newsletters in that location, so you can more easily find them.   You can contact the Webmaster if you want more information about grouping your files.   You can also store each Newsletter for future reference if you choose as they come in once a month.

If you've Saved a copy on your PC, open Explore by right clicking the Start button in the lower left corner of the screen, and then left click the Explore line, similar to the image shown below.

Clicking Explore will display a window similar to the one below.

Again, you should navigate to the location that you've previously stored your Newsletter(s).   Double left click the Newsletter name and your Newsletter will be displayed using your Adobe .pdf viewer.

Finally, if you choose to Print a copy on your printer, you'll need to print from the .pdf viewer application, NOT a browser window, if you've opened the Newsletter through an Internet based email program like Hotmail, Gmail or Mail.com.
