FRANKHOUSER FAMILY PICNIC
The William Frankhouser branch of the Jacob and Sarah Cuppett Frankhouser family had their annual picnic at the Wharton Township Park on July 25, 1999. Charles W. Frankhouser, whose grandfather was William Frankhouser, received "THE CANE," passed on to the oldest living family member. Family came from as far away as Tampa, Florida. The family had a covered dish picnic, desserts and a cake to commemorate the passing of the cane. The children enjoyed games planned especially for them. The adults got to guess the number of noodles in a jar, guess the different items that are used on a picnic that would fit into a beverage cooler and played crazy bingo, swapping prizes all the while. A good time was had by all! Next year's picnic will take place in the same park on the last Sunday in July, 2000.
