I am terribly sorry for the delay!! My computer took a nosedive and I am currently getting it back on its feet. Unfortunately with the summers busy schedule it is taking me alot longer then I would like. I believe I do have all the names that have been submitted and am continuing to recieve them just not able to upload them yet. Hopefully soon.
Every year 400,000 people die from tobacco related causes! It can happen, it has happened, and unfortunately it will happen again.
This list is a memorial for the victims and the people that know them. I think it is a good thing that we remember amongest all the debate just what the numbers stand for. They are our loved ones, our friends, our neighbors, and ourselves.
It is my sincere hope that this list will help someone. There are several links below for information as well as good support groups on the internet and in communities. For both the victim's and their loved ones. I most sincerely hope that this list will motivate someone to quit, so that what happened to my family does not have to happen to another.
It happened again to our family. My Uncle Charles passed away last night. ( 3-28-01 ) He had empheseyma for years. I visited with him about a month ago. At that time he was laying in bed. During our talk he had to rest and catch his breath. A couple times he fell asleep in the middle of a sentence. ( due to lack of oxygen ) And this was a guy who proudly stated that he was the only man the "mounties" couldn't catch.
