NEW stuff

The plan is to ride at Lost Creek on Friday, for anyone getting there early. We'll hit the TR trails Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I plan on leaving mid-day on Monday for Chadwick.

There are three gas stations in Bismark and two more between Bismark and Lost Creek. Lost Creek doesn't have any RV hookups but they can help with the water if you have a holding tank. It is about 15 miles or so to Bismark where the Train Tobber trail is located. Stores are within 15 miles and Lost Creek has plenty of firewood.

Looks like I'll be traveling down in the RV for this trip. I have two other spodes traveling with me, Jason 'Chainsaw' Dahl (vet from last year's WW2) and Steve Vehrenkamp (virgin :-).

So, we're going to be camping at the MX/HS area and hauling the bikes to the trails each morning. I can already smell the campfire. Or is that a singed rental car I smell? No matter, I'm up for either one. ;-)

Check out Jim's comments in the bulletin board. Look under "Send me your email", or something like that, for his reply.

So just what is WUDI III? I'm glad you asked! It stands for the third annual WUDsracer Invitational. It's only open to whomever, oops, that's all ya'lls who can come so it's not much of an invitational, actually. Please pass the word on. The more, the merrier.

These events started when Jim Cook extended an invitation to my Yankee self and friends to come down south and ride. He's since come to regret the offer but he's too much of a gentleman to turn me down when I come begging each winter. It's grown from there into whatever it is now. This is NOT a full blown spodefest. However, we may have some MX available this year for the first time.

This year, Jim is nice enough to volunteer to get us permission and guides for the Train Robber (TR) enduro trails near Hot Springs, Arkansas in February. The only riding we get to do at that time of year is on snowmobiles up here in Minnesota! There is an MX track/Hare Scrambles trail located about 15 miles from the TR area.

The plan is to meet at the TR area on Friday, 2/16 or Saturday, 2/17. We'll ride there Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Jim has found some of the local dirtbike club members to guide us.
