And while these Discourses have been prepared in hopes that most will be of interest to the Knowledgeable Reader with an interest in the brewing and consumption of malted beverages, it is hoped that the General Reader will find some small recreation in perusing the pages herein. In his humble hope that the latter may prove to be the case, the Humble Author has attempted to present his Discourses in an amusing fashion and begs the forgiveness of those Serious Readers who might take offense at his poor attempts.
