General Grievous is an infamous Jedi hunter and the leader of the Droid Armies. He is mostly machine with only a metal exo-skeleton, though most of his body is covered by a robe. His metal face-plate is a ghostly white ... expressionless. Only two lizard-like, yellow eyes stare out. Inside his robe, dead Jedi lightsabers are hanging. He speaks with a strange machine-like tone... Grievous- "I've been waiting for you Jedi scum. To show you what happens to those that cross me. Take their weapons!" Obi-Wan, Anakin and Palpatine are trapped. Surrounded by Super Battledroids and Grievous' henchmen droids. The IG-100 MagnaGuards take their sabers and hand them to General Grievous, who hangs them in his robe where he keeps his lightsaber collection. R2-D2 is also there and and he creates a diversion. Anakin Skywalker has highly modified R2 during the Clone Wars, fitting him with new gadgets and technology. R2 freaks out. All his appendages shoot out at the same time and it appears he is malfunctioning. Smoke shoots out one way, electricity another. Obi-Wan and Anakin use this diversion to their advantage. They both call their sabers with the Force, flying from Grievous' robe to their waiting hands. R2 zaps the Superbattle Droids and punches them with his gadgets and the fight is on! Grievous- "What?!?... Magnetize!!" There is an electronic hum and three IG-1OO series MagnaGuards appear from the shadows. They have gray metallic bodies with a robe draped on one shoulder. They have only two red lights for eyes and are carrying pikes with electrified glass tubes on the ends. These tubes generate an electrical field that shield the staffs from lightsabers. Grievous- "Destroy Them!!!" Anakin and Obi-Wan jump back through the doors and back into an adjacent hallway to keep from being surrounded. Kenobi decapitates one of the droid warriors and slashes at another. It twirls it's staff around Anakin dangerously. Anakin ducks and slashes, cutting it in half. Anakin then Force pushes the last one out into the air of the elevator shaft. It slams against the far side and plummets downwards into oblivion. The "Invisible Hand" has entered Coruscant's atmosphere and General Grievous has seen enough. Grievous- "I am sorry I don't have time to fight you. It would have been an interesting match but I have an appointment with an escape pod and you... YOU have appointments with death." Grievous shoots a hook into a panel support, ignites the electrostaff, and throws it at the viewport. The transparisteel window is broken and a huge gust of wind blows the general out in space. Emergency shutters seal the bridge tight. Using a cable and his magnetized feet/claws on the outer hull, Grievous crawls to the external hatch of the only bridge escape pod. Unfortunately, Grievous ejected the rest of the escape pods before leaving which is why Anakin has to land the crumbling cruiser on Coruscant; there is no other option. The Coruscant Fire Department have sent up Fireships to help put out the flaming ship. R2 gets the ships controls to respond and Anakin guides the ship down himself, into a long vacant area of the planet, avoiding a major disaster. |
