4069 crashed Feb 28, 1959, 5 mi N of Prescott, AZ. Approached Prescott Apt
from the south, then began a right turn. The nose came up and a roar
of power was heard, the bank steepened and the turn tightened. The right
wing dropped sharply and plane entered near vertical dive into the ground.
Aircraft exploded on impact. 4 crew on board killed.
Aircraft was attached to Navy squadron VR-8 at Moffett Field, CA
at the time of the accident
