Please note:

The LF Converter board has been 
changed slightly.  U2, the 78L08 
regulator and Q1, the PNP output 
transistor  now have 3 pads in a 
row rather than the triangular 
arrangement shown in the manual.  
Also C2  has been moved from the 
right side of U2 to below U2.



if 2 toroids with magnet wire have been included with your kit, this note applies:

IMPORTANT !

Two FT37-61 toroids and 
magnet wire have been 
included with your LF 
Converter kit in place of the 
two FT37-43 toroids and 
"hookup" wire mentioned in 
the manual.  

Use 15 inches of wire (half) 
and wind 23 turns of magnet 
wire on the toroid instead of 
the 8 turns mentioned in the 
manual.  Scrape or burn off 
the insulation on the magnet 
wire and solder in place.




if prewound coils have been included with your kit, this note applies:

      IMPORTANT !

Two prewound coils have been 
included with your LF Converter 
kit in place of the two toroids 
and wire.  

Strip the insulation from the 
ends of the wire and solder 
in place per the manual.
