Here's and awesome little trick that adds another "Favorites (favorite websites, that is) List", grouped by date, to the "Start Menu".

    The "Favorites List" on the start menu is a quick launch pad for your favorite websites without having to launch InterNet Explorer first.  It lists all of your favorites just as they appear in InterNet Explorer's "Favorites List".  The bad news about Internte Exlporer's Favorites List is, that it can be quite lengthy and it may be difficult to find what you're looking for.

    To make it easier to find those sites that you've recently visited, this little trick groups the past three weeks of "favorites" in five categories:

      1. three weeks ago,
      2. two weeks ago,
      3. one week ago,
      4. yesterday, and
      5. today. Here's how it works.

    Follow the steps below to create this list on your computer...

    1. Begin by right-clicking on the "Start Button"
    2. Choose "Open" or "Explore" (try Explore first).
    3. Next, pull down the "File Menu" and select "New/Folder".
    4. Then, replace the 'new folder's default name' with the following:

History.{FF393560-C2A7-11CF-BFF4-444553540000}

    1. Press the "Enter" key.  You'er done.

    Now, when you click the "Start Button", you'll see that you've created a cascading "History Folder" that shows your favorite websites, grouped by date visited over the past three weeks.
