I was able to do some work on the wings and made a list of needed items (drilled head bolts and such)) but not more than that.
![]() Not much more. |
![]() Would you believe there are two aircraft in here? |
"Turn coordinator? We don’t need no stinking turn coordinator!" We received our parts shipment and luckily the weather changed, so we got busy back in the cockpit. (Can't change it now.) T-88 epoxy is some bad stuff. (That's a good thing.) and happiness is a new hole saw.
![]() The same plan as on the other side. |
![]() We can't go back now. |
![]() This may just work out. |
![]() There you go. |
![]() Looks good from over here. |
|
Shit The Boss is here! We've been very busy with loc-tite to the wing bolts, AN4-30H hinge and sweep cable bolts, (remember—never remove,) then we made sure it all fit together. Well, you know it looks great!
![]() The Boss |
|
![]() Love is in the air. |

![]() Our happy owner. |

![]() . . . the wings go together rather fast. |
![]() Manufacturing compression struts. |
![]() The wing ribs all fit. That box is empty! |
![]() At 4:00 A.M.: Inspector, "WHAT'S THAT CHOPPING NOISE!?!" |
![]() "Wheels," squeaked Rick. |
![]() And finally the landing gear is working good. |
