Brother-In-Law Joseph Ordway: Who like Elvis Presley joined the Army; (also like Elvis) he went over to Germany! For over 20 years Joseph (this time unlike Elvis) was a manager of McDonalds in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania.

Nephew Cliff Arnesen: Who joined the Army shortly after graduating from high school at the age of 17! And...several years later Cliff is still with the Army, and  stationed in Germany!...Cliff is no longer in Germany, he like a lot of others at this time is now in Kuwait. We pray that he and all  the  other soldiers stay safe and make it home! Cliff graduated from Elmira Free Academy (EFA) in 1988!

Friend Mike Birkholz: Who Joined The Army; Mike was (like me)  also sent over to Viet Nam! After having several different jobs; Mike is (finally) for the past several years doing something that he really enjoys and loves doing! Mike is a nurse at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, New York. Mike (also like me) graduated from Elmira Free Academy (EFA) in 1965!

Nephew Jon David Ruhmel: Who Joined The Navy; Jon David died on May 9, 1989 during a fire aboard the USS White Plains! (Jon David was one of six sailors killed aboard the White Plains), a supply ship heading back to its base in Guam following exercises in the Persian Gulf. Jon David was a 1986 graduate of Southside  High School in Elmira, New York. (Jon David was an honor student graduating 6th in his class!)

Brother-In-Law Harvey Rosekrans: Who joined the Navy! This photo is dated in '73! Harvey served the Navy for 2 years! Harvey graduated from Elmira Free Academy  (EFA) in 1970. Harvey (like me) works for the Post Office!

Brother-In-Law Howard Arnesen: Who joined the Air Force; Howard was (also like me) sent to Viet Nam! Howard worked for 20 plus years for the New York Telephone Company! Now retired Howard is building a home in the state of Texas! Howard is a 1962 Graduate of Elmira Free Academy (EFA)!
