In 1999, members of the Baltimore Area
Soaring Society, Broken Arrow R/C Soaring Squadron and Capital Area
Soaring Association got together and formed the East Coast's first hand
launch contest series. At the end of the last contest in September, the
ECHLTS trophy is awarded to the top pilot of the series.
This site was developed to help promote the
Triad and HL flying in the Mid-Atlantic area. Below are links to the participating clubs
