Questions/Contacts: City of Port Orford, 555 W. 20th. St., POB 310, Port Orford, OR. 97465, Ph: 541.332.3681, email: portorfordcityh@harborside.com. Website: www.portorford.org
Nearest Skateboard Shops: Hopefully in the future, but for now I think you gotta go to Bandon. I was told there is a shop in "old town" Bandon called "Sea Blue?"
Hospital/ER: Don't get hurt here! PO offers ambulence service to either Bandon or Goldbeach, but PO's clinic is only open M-F and only half day on Friday.
Misc: A "gotta skate" destination 'cus of the cradle and the quality. Built by Dreamland Skateparks the park is smooth with near perfect transitions. The park is small and simple...and extremely challenging. Kinda tricky to find since the City hasn't finished the surroundings yet. Go West on 18th off Hwy 101, you'll curve around a pond on your left and than will see a gravel entrance to a gravel parking area. Park and walk up the "emergency vehicle access only" road to the park. There are no ammenities at this time though the city is planning to soon be installing some.
