When Opened: Spring 2003?
Who built/designed: Airspeed, based in Florence Oregon.
Size: Medium-Small.
Difficulty: Intermediate to advanced.
Fun: Jury's still out. We hit this park after 2 long days of skating, on our way home. Knowing that the park was built by Airspeed, we had high hopes, Airspeed is known for it's quality parks. Never did completely decide if we liked the park or not, but know we will definitely revisit it to give it a second stab when we aren't so beat, battered and tired. If you are in the Eugene area, you really should try this park out for yourself..
Helmets: The sign was vague, it just said: Use Safety equipment. Does that mean it's required or just recommended?
Bikes: Not allowed, but they obviously love this park, evidenced by the complete covering of tire rubber. Expect to skate with bikes.
Supervised: No.
Hours open: 7:30am-Dark.
Lights for night: Street lights nearby but probably not enough light.
Covered: No.

Questions/Contacts: City of Eugene Parks and Open Spaces 541.682.4800.
Nearest Skateboard Shops: Eugene. (See my Skateshops link for details)
Hospital/ER: __
Misc: Skating it tired as we were, it was hard to find lines and we found the wall extension at the end of the long bowl placed disfunctionally. It was little tricky to find this park, it's at the end of a winding drive, tucked behind a baseball stadium. This park is definitely well worth a visit. I recommend hitting it on your way to Veneta from Eugene's Churchill park. A rocky, ify, porta-potty dropped off as an obvious after-thought. No drinking fountain. No payphone. Wonder what it's like to visit this skatepark during a baseball game at the stadium, could parking become impossible?
