Nearest Skateboard Shop:The Board Room Skate Shop, 1405 Commericial St., Astoria, OR. 97103, Ph:503.325.6844, Hrs:Mon-Sat 12pm-6pm, Closed Sunday. When we visited, this shop sold strictly skateboarding gear, which I respect. A friendly, well stocked shop.

Misc: This is one of the top 10 best skate parks of Oregon. It's a beauty and a great skate, typical Dreamland quality. I have heard a common complaint about the left corner in the deep bowl being too tight, making this beast extra difficult to skate. The skate park replaced an outdoor swimming pool and I like how the pool house was left, another pool turned into a skatepark but without a pool...There are bleachers to sit on, but the grassy slopes surrounding the park are also very pleasant to view the action from. There are permanant restrooms nearby and a seasonal drinking fountain.
