Hidden Messages

Hidden Messages: Bungie is known to put Easter eggs around in the form of glitches but they also put messages up in some of their levels and multiplayer maps. Here's a list of some that I've found.

Multiplayer Maps:

Backwash: Ok there's a message on Backwash that you can find if you get outside of the level. I personally don't know how to get out by myself (Some people can using just a Sword) so I just have someone knock me out of the level via a Spectre or a Warthog running into me against a wall. Once you have gotten up there go around the level until you see some large red letters that look as if written in blood, they will read out "IT'S LOOKING A LITTLE ROUGH OUT HERE".

Beaver Creek: Go to the spot where the Sniper respawns that is opposite the shady spot. (there should be two areas, one in the shade of the canyon and one in the sun) Then jump to the part where the rocks are and knock them off one at a time. Look where the largest rock previously occupied and there should be the words "Why am I here?" written in the face of the rock.

Coagulation: Go to Red Base and then go through the teleporter, after that go into the cave. Make sure that you go by the drop off and not the winding ramp, and just before you jump into the water look to the left and on the wall you should see the words "not sid was here".

Headlong: If you look on the yellow walls of the four story building then there are numerous pictures of a hippo that was originally on the Shotgun shells in Halo

Cairo Station: At the very beginning of the level, where you step out of the shield tester thing step into the right-hand corner (assuming the elevator where Sgt. Johnson comes in from is facing you) look behind the blockades and read the screens, there are some pretty funny things there.

Outskirts: When you start the level go to where you find the Blind Skull. Now go to the alley and jump across to the gate where the Hunters would break the two doors down, once you're there jump onto the freeway where a Pelican is hovering over. Wait for the Pelican to lift off and jump down onto the road. Using the crouch-jump technique jump onto the building next to the road. Ok here's the part that's really hard to explain, you need to find the area where there are usually six or seven jackals near a completely gutted out building with a fire in the basement. If you get to the top of the building using some grenades and well-timed crouch-jumps you should see a building with a wedge-shaped hole in it next to the gutted building, jump inside and you'll see a sword staking in the ground and a puddle of blood with rocks arranged in the letters REX which is the level designers' name.

Metropolis: Right after you go through the hallway that makes a square shape and has a waterfall in the middle instead of going forward like the Warthog does go backwards and look behind some barrels, there should be an image of a Grunt etched/burned into the wall.

Rug: Right near the end of the level, look at the doormat at the entrance of the building that you go in. (where the Scarab destroys a Scorpion tank) the words on the rug are Mtangulizi Kampuni, which is Forerunner Company in Swahili.

Propaganda: This is in the same area as rug and where the Scarab destroys the Scorpion. Take a left where there is a detour in the road, you should see a bunch of Covenant and UNSC crates lying around, there will be a sign next to a door way that is trying to recruit New Mombassa's youth, this is what it says.
