Blood Gulch

Blood Gulch: This is another of Halo's 3 utterly massive maps it features a large box canyon complete with caves, 2 bases, and many good sniping points. Vehicles go along very nicely with this map, use the warthog to get around quickly and to transport a flag-carrier back to base safely. Of course if there are vehicles then there's always a Rocket Launcher to go with them, the Rocket Launcher is located in the middle of the canyon next to a small bush, but be careful, snipers will be on the lookout for anyone who goes out in the open. Sniping is a very important part of this level don't get caught out in the open if you can help it and definitely don't stop in a Warthog or Ghost for any reason, each base is given a Sniper Rifle and in the hands of a worthy marksman can be very deadly. There are 2 bases in Blood Gulch, each on opposite sides of the canyon facing each other. Each base has 2 stories and is equipped with a teleporter that transports you to the middle of the canyon, the teleporter is one way however and can be a deathtrap if a sniper is nearby. Also the caves are relatively safe passageways through the map, you will usually be safe from snipers and can sometimes sneak in undetected on an enemy base.
