IHRS Winter Meet – February 6, 2010
Hornet Park Community Center, Beech Grove

A Swap N Sell indoor meet  -  7:00 am to 12 noon  
(No Friday setup.)
Old Radio Equipment Contest categories:
   1. Radio Advertising
   2. Diode/Germanium Radios

The Hornet Park Community Center is three streets north of south-east I465 exit 52 (Emerson Avenue, Beech Grove)  Travel north from I464 to Hornet Ave.  Turn right at Hornet Ave – the Community Center is about two blocks east on the right.

IHRS Spring Meet – Kokomo - April 24, 25, 2009

   The Kokomo Event Center, Kokomo
      Directions  -  Lodging

   Friday April 24 - 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm
   Saturday April 25 - 7:00 am to 2:00 pm

   Meet at the Kokomo Event Center.  Located at 1500 North Reed Road
   (US 31) in Kokomo. Plenty of indoor Radio Swap and Sell space. 
   Vintage radio contests.  Radio operation and repair seminars.    


Old Equipment Contest - Contest is open to all Indiana Historical Radio Society and Antique Wireless Association members. Non member entries will be for display only. The Founders Award is reserved for IHRS members.  The entries are judged by historical significance, documentation, and condition of radio.

Contest Categories:
1. Made in Indiana
2. Transistor Radios
3. Crystal Sets (pre 1930)
4. pre 1940 radios (table or console)
5. Open for any radio related entry

Operating radios will be judged in the appropriate contest category:

– Want to show off a set, generate a discussion?  Space will be available to place your radio related equipment on display.

                           outside - rainy, in side set up.
Vintage Radio Contest:  (Popular Vote)

  Category 2 - Open - you decide
Tables will be available for display of radio
       and communications equipment.
Silent Auction of donated vintage radio equipment.

General admission is free - the public is welcome.

Swap N Sell vendor fee is $10.00 for current members of the Indiana Historical Radio Society and $15.00 for non-members.

Many choices for lodging and food at exits 68 and 76, I65 Columbus.

IHRS Fall Foliage Meet at Greenfield

October 10, 2009 – Saturday  8:00 AM

Meet at the Riley Park Shelter, Greenfield, Indiana.  (One block north of US40 on Apple Street.)  Indoor and outdoor setup space for Radio Swap & Sell.
