National surveys. Provision of litigation support as consultant and expert witness in child abuse and neglect in out-of-home care (adoption, foster care, daycare, child placing agencies, institutions, respite care). Expertise spans adequacy/appropriateness of abuse and complaint investigations, disclosure of information, provision of services, staff training, foster care/daycare licensing and assessment, and the matching of foster and adoptive children with appropriate caregivers by both public and private child placing agencies. In addition to rendering opinion, services span document review, case preparation, and consultation involving avenues for discovery, interrogatories, and questioning during deposition and trial.
