Stevie Ray Vaughan was an immensely talented guitarist, singer and songwriter. His music appeals so much to me because his is the kind of music you feel in your gut. The way he spoke his emotions through his guitar was a gift that not many musicians have. He overcame drug addiction and strove to help others escape from drug use.


These are two loose studies of Stevie I did. Both 16"x20", 1998.
