Texas IG Rescue As its name suggests, TIGR — Texas IG Rescue — is a Texas-based rescue group headquartered in the DFW area. The group has been in operation for three years in the top half of the state, and they are eager to establish a presence in the greater Houston area as well as in south Texas, where there has never been a strong IG rescue presence. Texas IG Rescue is a small, grass-roots organization with the entire focus of the group's operations being on Texas' iggy orphans.
