Ziggy

TIGR about Ziggy
Meet Ziggy. He's such a cutie patooty, playful, full of energy (the good kind). He has such great markings and coloring. What a great face he has. He's comfortable with ladies, men and kids. He really enjoys playing and if you have older kids, what a great match he would be. He's even good with cats, so no worries there if you have a cat. Ziggy is approximately 9 months old and in excellent health. He's willing and ready to nestle in to his new Forever Home. Truly an awesome dog! |
Dottie Mae

TIGR about Dottie Mae
I am a healthy 10 pound Blue/White Southern Bell named Dottie Mae.
My first mommy named me Dottie when she got me 2 1/2 yrs ago. She had to go to a nursing home and could not take me so a young college girl took me in and I lived with her and Piper the Chi for a year. She moved away and didn't take me so I am now living with a really nice foster mommy.
I love to snuggle, go for walks, and play with my sis, Piper the Chi who is also a foster. Pee pad training is going good, but I haven't caught on to the outside thing yet. I'd rather sniff and explore when outside the apartment. Wonder if my name could have anything to do with that outside problem? Dottie...Pottie???? Anyway, I'm looking for someone to pamper me, love me, and give me a Forever Home. |

TIGR about Brandy
I am 10 pounds of sweetness and sass named Brandy. The moment my foster mom laid eyes on my perky ears she knew I was a sweetheart with a determined spirit to find love. I am very social and love to cuddle with my foster family members and other iggies.
If you need a buddy to ride in the car with you I am your girl. Also, the doggy door has trained me not to mess in the house. I do not like to be kenneled so please leave a spot for me in your bed under the covers or in a special pillow near you. My temperament is balanced with independence and the need to be loved. Ask TIGR about me. |
Dino

TIGR about Dino
Dino came in as a owner surrender. He will be 8 years old in Oct and has been with the same owner since a pup until now. He is a sweet guy who loves to be loved on and cuddled with, on his own terms. He will crawl under the bed covers and sleep all night long next to a warm body. He is more potty trained than any Iggy I've met so far. That is to say he does go outside, but still has an occasional accident in the house. He loves the doggy door now! His foster mom is a stay at home person, so someone is with him all day long. He's been to one play date and had tons of fun running around. So much so that he didn't want to leave and it took us 30 mins to round him up. Dino does not have any of the basic commands like come, sit or stay. But he loves treats, so I think he could be taught once he becomes comfortable with his new home.
Dino would benefit best from someone who is home with him and wants a snuggle buddy. He is shy with people and it will take a long time and a lot of patience for him to warm up to you. He still runs from us if we try to walk up to him and pet him. But if he is laying on the sofa or bed he will usually let us come sit with him and love on him. It is extremely important that the person that takes Dino into their forever home be patient and kind. Sudden moves and loud noises scare him. I would recommend no children be around Dino.
I cannot stress enough that he needs someone who is extremely patient and with a kind heart for sweet dogs. |
Tess

TIGR about Tess
My name is Tess. I am a mature, house-broken iggy. My foster mom has a doggie door I use easily with my other furry siblings. We get along well during the day running and playing together. In the evening, I like to curl up with them and clean their ears. My nature is to nurture other dogs. In my new home I would like to have another relaxed iggy sibling to play and cuddle with in a blanket. At bedtime I am affectionate and love to sleep on my foster mom's feet. During the day I can be a bit stand offish and skittish of loud noises or quick movements, a bit cat like in my ways. My black shiny coat and petite stature make me a pretty sight sitting on the back of the couch sunbathing. I am capable of jumping on chairs to reach bits of food you may leave behind. I have become attached to my foster family and say "hello" with barking as it can be exciting to see the ones I love come back to me. Give me a chance to greet you as you come home! |
