This is Gunner's father, Ch. Tacara's Vintage Valkyr CDX.   Here are two photos of Gunner's mother, Ch. Tacara's Spree Soignes CD HIC taken by owner Sherri Samel Hurst on Spree's 12th birthday.  Spree was awarded High in Trial at the huge Texas Kennel Club show while earning her Companion Dog title.  She lived with us for a year while Sherri was making preparations to wed her husband, David, and move to the Houston area.   This is Tonto (1982-1989). A sweet kitty, he died of cardiomyopathy despite intensive medical intervention.   Shadow & Tonto were best buddies.    Here they are at play. These are my mother's dogs, Precious and Bandit, when Bandit was just a wee pup.  Both have now crossed the Rainbow Bridge, but live on in my mother's loving memories of them.   Above is Tramp, who grew up with her owner, my little sister Brenda.  Buffy, shown at left, was owned and loved for many years by my sister, Becky, and niece, Christy.  He does not looked thrilled about donning the attractive beaded necklace, does he? At left is our late friend Bubba winning his class at the 1992 National Specialty.  Bubba was 19 months old in this photo.  He crossed the Rainbow Bridge in 2001, enjoying a long life for his breed.  Bubba was a very sweet boy who will be greatly missed.
