A woman gives birth to a child. A new person has been born. God has again worked the miracle of human birth and life. A human being is born as a biological soul/spirit. God creates and unites both soul and body in one person. A proud father considers himself blessed. He may hand out cigars and candy to celebrate his child's birth. Now, if life is so unique and blessed then why is life not considered as the most valued thing in the world and treated or protected as such from conception to death? Somewhere between the conception of a human being and the death of that human being, the value of this unique life has been lost by many. In the Biblical "Ten Commandments" Moses was directed by Jehovah/God to instruct the people not to kill/murder (Exodus 20). Most everyone wants to live, and to live longer because of the hopes and joy of living. Each of us values his own life. It is madness in the minds of people who have lost their desire for the joy of continued life. It is also madness to lose the sense of the value of every other human being's life. Anyone who finds pleasure in the taking of human life has lost his own value as a person. What we need to tell people is that God Almighty created us as special when he told Adam and Eve to bring forth children in the bond of human love and affection; and that the thought of destroying human life is godless and evil. Yet, everyday murdering/killing of human life is repeated around the world by the madness of aggression and demonic evil. We need again to tell the world that God is a God of grace and abundant life and has no pleasure in the death of ungodly sinners or in hell's damnation. Jesus came into the world to save us from the death penalty of our failures and rebellion so that we could again enjoy abundantly wonderful life in Christ and God (John 3). Those who are afar from the abundant life in Christ can come nigh to God by turning from evil self-darkness to the light of life in Christ Jesus. JUDGMENT Judgment is ahead for everyone: the saved and the unsaved; the saved at the judgment seat(bema) of Christ (Romans 14:10); the unsaved at the great white throne judgment (Rev. 20:11f). LET EVERYONE KNOW: if anyone neglects the opportunity of salvation through Christ Jesus, then there is no other name given whereby one can be saved (Acts 4:12).
"THIS IS THE DAY WHICH THE LORD HATH MADE..." PSALM 118:24
SOME DAYS SEEM OPEN FOR SIMPLE MEDITATION AND PRAYER. Isa. 30:7 reads:"Their strength is to sit still." YET, TOO OFTEN WE GO WITH A MOOD RATHER THAN SEEKING GOD'S SPIRIT TO GUIDE/GIVE US HIS BURDEN FOR MINISTRY/LIFE. WE CAN GIVE OURSELVES TO life in Christ or to a life in ourselves and the world's/Satan's control. Those who follow the world will find themselves missing the mark of Christ and God and, therefore, guilty of sin and rebellion against God's will and law.
GUILTY
Guilty, found guilty! Adam and Eve were found guilty by God's just judgment, fully guilty (Genesis 3). They had violated God's commanding Word: thou shalt not!!! Exodus 20 gives the revelation of the ten commandments. But these were not the first commandment; that was in Genesis chapter two, verse seventeen: "...but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die (NIV)." They were guilty because they had violated God's trust and Word.
Have you violated God's commanding Word: thou shalt not: kill, steal, covet, lie...; or thou shalt love God with all thy heart, soul...(Deuteronomy 6:4); or thou shalt love thy neighbor ...(Mark 12:28-34)? Because of the sinfulness of heart all stand guilty for sin that proceeds from our heart of lust. And, we will be judged by our own words (Matthew 12:37), by the Word of God (John 12:48) and the infallible "Book of Life" (Revelation 20;15).
God's judgment is totally JUST and comes because of sin/wickedness, disobedience/rebellion, or missing the mark. Every Christian must stand at the tribunal (bema) of Christ (Romans 14:10,11). The unsaved will be judged at the great white throne (Rev. 20:11f).
The most precious, valuable thing given to us by our Lord is our present moment. Our God, the Lord of time and eternity, wills that we seek His face and blessing as we spend our time for Him. He has a plan for our lives as Christians and it includes everything of our life. So, our total life needs to be spent serving by/with His love (agape) in our hearts/lives. We are commanded to love those around us and seek to help them find the Lord's will for their lives (First John).
If your life is not filled with His great love, it is void of real living. Efforts for personal achievement, at the expense of serving our Lord with the time He has given to us, will not receive His blessing and will be judged as worthless for time and eternity.
