Why So Few New Horseracing Pictures?

As you may have noticed, there have not been many new horseracing photos this year.  There are several reasons.  One is that I rarely feel good enough to drive to any racetrack other than Portland Meadows, and of course, Portland Meadows is the only racetrack in Oregon or Washington that I don't like.  Another problem is that I can't stand standing for any length of time and have trouble going up and down stairs.  

Then there is the third problem:  Too many horses wearing blinkers.  Blinkers are ugly.  On September 14, I went to Canby to find out what sort of photos I might get of mounted shooting.  (People gallop their horses down a line of targets, shooting guns.)  Not a single one of their horses needed blinkers.  When I left the arena, I was in a lot of pain and could barely walk, but I'm already wondering where I can find some more of that sort of thing.

Buried Under My LIst Of Things To Do

Sometime many months ago, I thought I would reorganize my web space.  I get free space from my ISP, but it's in 6 segments.  It's a time-consuming and tedious chore to rearrange things, so after a while, I set it aside.  I haven't got back to it.  I haven't abandoned the idea.  I just don't have the necessary amount of time to spend on it.  I'm about 2 years behind on nearly everything in my life.
