This is a classic mudslide recipe, which paved the way for more recent frozen versions.
Ingredients:
Ice (enough to fill shaker about 3/4 full)
1/2 ounce vodka
1/2 ounce Bailey's or other Irish cream liqueur
1/2 ounce Kahlua or other coffee-flavored liqueur
1-1/2 ounces cream or half & half
Chocolate syrup or chocolate shavings (optional - for garnish)
Fill a shaker with ice. Add the vodka, Bailey's, Kahlua, and cream. Shake for about 10 seconds, and then strain into a cocktail glass. If desired, garnish with a swirl of cholcate syrup or a sprinkle of chocolate shavings.
