- Activities:
- Saturday - drove to Lake alpine, loaded sleds, hiked about 400 yards, dragging sleds, to campsite, made snow shelters. Sunday, made breakfast, packed up and returned home early since it was raining.

The scouts and adults had no problems excavating shelters in over 10 feet of snow
- Problems:
- Rain got one scout rather wet, but no one was chilled since the weather was relatively warm.
