Luke 1:31-33, "And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end."

Luke could quite possibly be considered the most beloved and best known book of the four gospels of Jesus Christ. Chronicling the Lord's life from conception to His ascension into heaven, it was written by Luke the physician and is addressed to "Theophilus," friend of God.
Throughout this book we see all the words of the prophets and Moses being fulfilled in the Son of the Highest, Jesus Christ.

Luke 9:26, "For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels."

The genealogy of Christ referenced in Luke reveals Jesus as the Son of Man. Through the words of this gospel Jesus refers to Himself as the Son of Man over twenty-five times revealing Him as the One Who came to bruise the head of the serpent.
Son of God, Son of Man, Jesus Christ the One Who came to destroy the works of the devil and give us eternal life. Because of what He has done we can live a victorious life in Him. Picking up our cross daily following in His footsteps and going into all the world preaching the gospel of truth.
Daniel 7:13-14, "I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed."
