Approximately three years before Paul was bound and taken to Rome, he dictated a letter to Tertius expressing his desire to visit the believers there; that he may impart some spiritual gift and bear fruit as among the other Gentiles.
Written in approximately 56 or 57 A.D., the book of Romans has been considered the constitution of the Christian faith. The letter, which was penned nearly 2000 years ago, follows the generations of mankind from Adam to the second coming of Jesus Christ revealing the sinful nature of mankind and how far man had spiraled backward.

Romans 8:1-2, "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death."

Paul's words open our eyes to the fact that the Law was given to reveal man's sinful nature compared to the righteousness of God, showing no one is justified by the works of the Law but by faith through grace we are saved.
Through the words of Romans we are admonished that the only way to receive salvation is through the blood of Jesus Christ. At the right time, Christ died for the ungodly, because God commended His love toward us while we were yet sinners.
