(trader's mark - 6 pointed star) bearing Indian 1 a tied by British office cancel (Hellrigl B16) applied in Kathmandu, addressed to Gyantse May 15 receiving pmk. (all postmarks on same side). Small scrape on flap - not affecting stamp or postmarks. Attractive cover.

Sent to Gyantse (recv. pmk of Sept. 4) where a forwarding agent has picked up the cover at the British post office, placed a Tibet 1912 1 /6t shiny (Gyantse cancel - Hellrigl T3)for delivery to Lhasa and applied a purple directional hand-stamp (variety of Hellrigl's type 13). Opened roughly -part of flap missing affecting Trader's mark and piece missing on front affecting address.
