More Time For You My Friend

He knelt to pray but not for long,

He had too much to do.

He had to hurry and get to work

For bills would soon be due.

So he knelt and said a hurried prayer,

And jumped up off his knees.

My Christian duty was now done

His soul could rest at ease.....

All day long he had no time

To spread a word of cheer

No time to speak of Christ to friends,

No time, no time, too much to do,

That was his constant cry,

No time to give to souls in need

But just before his time to die.

He prayed to the lord on high.

lord I did not do what I should do

To bring others to understand you.

Please Forgive me Lord!!

I JUST DID NOT SPEND THE TIME.

Lord, my prayer today

 for my friends to see

Help us all Lord to find Time for thee.
