This shows a takeoff into the wind...Seniors have no problems getting off the ground. Note the 4" wheels.

This is me holding the airplane...note a couple of things..the prop is a folder, but it has been tightened so that it will not fold unless you hit the ground..this saves on prop breakage but most importantly prevents damage to the motor/gearbox or the airplane structure.

This closeup of the above image shows the windshield...its made from a single, flexible piece of fiberglass, colored black to simulate a windshield..the small black rectangle above the Cub zig-zag is one of the Velcro tab that keeps the windshield in place. I have my thumb on one of the hatch covers for the wings rubberbands, this hatch is made of 1/64" plywood and held in place with Velcro.

This picture shows the battery tray and its flexible pressure plate (keeps the two packs from sliding in-flight)...note that I don't sheet the fuselage, its not needed, and to prove it this airplane has survived over 1500 flights and several nasty crashes.

Untitled-4.jpg (107229 bytes)

This image shows the two packs side by side, the airplane was not finished in this picture..its missing the windshield Velcro patches, the cowling and the wing rubber band hatch cover.
