Hemingway Scottish Terriers

Introducing
Our boy Trapper
Our boy Trapper
Please meet the many funny faces of our Scots!

We will have all colors from time to time
including blacks, brindles, and wheatens.

All of our parents have been cleared for Vwd
and eye clearances.

Lacy (wheaten)

Lacy {Wheaten}

This is an example of a wheaten Scottie.
Wheaten is known as a color and is not
to be mistaken for a Wheaten Terrier.
In Scotties this means "white coloring."

Because of their rarity, these are more
expensive than the other colors.

Scotties, like Airedales need regular grooming
and
it is a must that this be started as early as
possible.
Not only to maintain their regal appearance,
but once a puppy is not groomed on a regular basis,
they become difficult to handle and will give the
groomer a very tough time.

In the beginning a simple Terrier Palm Pad is
all that is required.  Scotties too, can be hand
stripped or clipped with clippers.

Callie is a good example of a brindle scottie.
They vary in shades of black to gray.  Some
have an airbrush look.

We welcome Blizzak Baxter to Hemingway to hopefully sire
wheaten puppies in 2004.
