All power supplies listed here have the following specs in common:
Bear in mind that wall-mounted units can be inconvenient. The transformer (the bulky part) of a wall-mounted unit plugs directly into an outlet, which is clumsy and can obstruct adjacent outlets. A desk-mounted unit (model IMP5V2AS1), which has an input cable as well as an output cable, can be placed where you want and is usually preferable for this reason.
EZ135 users: Most of the external EZ135 drives that I've seen came with an APS48ER-110 power supply, but the others listed here are compatible and are actually more robust (according to their current ratings). Buying a power supply with a higher current rating will allow you to upgrade with confidence to a 230 MB EZFlyer drive in future. However, if you want a wall-mounted unit, notice that the WAD-0520-A is bulkier than the other models (all 4 photos above are at the same scale).Plugging your power supply into a surge protector instead of directly into a household outlet will help to protect the power supply and drive from electrical surges.EZFlyer users: The EZFlyer drive has a 1.2 Amp peak current rating. Most of the external EZFlyer drives that I've seen came with an IMP5V2AS1 power supply. If for some reason you want a wall-mounted power adapter, use the WAD-0520-A, because the APS48ER-110 has a lower current rating and was probably never shipped with EZFlyer drives.
