Indefinite Listing Privilege, also known as "ILP." An ILP allows an unregistered dog (of an AKC registerable breed) to participate in obedience & performance events. In order to compete in any AKC obedience & performance events, a dog must have either an AKC registration number or an ILP number. An ILP is not a substitutition for an AKC registration.
Information/Requirements for an ILP (Indefinite Listing Privilege)
Indefinite Listing Privilege Application Check for $25.00 - Processing fee Two recent and clear photographs of the dog in standing position: one a full front view and the other a full profile view A veterinarian's spay/neuter certificate
Any persons wanting to obtain an ILP on a dog, must show proof that the animal has been spayed or neutered.Pedigree information, if available, can be listed on the ILP form. Reason why the dog cannot be registered with the AKC and reason why the dog is considered to be an AKC purebred dog.
