This site was constructed as a term project for the Historian and the Computer class by Hannah Borgeson, a graduate student in U.S. history at the City College of New York.

The “Springside” lettering on the opening page is from a ticket used to visit Springside in 1866, as reproduced in Flad, illus. 22 (photo: J. Opdycke). The image used for button and title backgrounds is a picture I took myself in fall 1999. Because this is a school project, I did not secure permission for any of the images I used for this Website.
