Sad news. Following a hunting accident, pursuing a possum, Fiona ruptured a disc in her back. Over the course of the last week or so, she gradually became paralyzed in her back legs. Last night, realizing that she was in considerable pain, and despite intensive drug therapy, never going to be able to walk again, we made the decision to have her put to sleep. We made a late night trip to the vet, and buried her early this morning, under the fig tree in our back yard. She was the sweetest little dog, and will be missed terribly.
