On the Town with an Olympus 320L (summer 1998)
 city, still life at the Alien Cafe, and action It is an amazing machine producing amazing pictures, with the macro mode at High Quality settings being especially effective. The hookup via serial port has the pictures in your graphics program in minutes; there is even a converter which lets you slide the SmartMedia card into your floppy drive. After looking at my pictures, I think I'll try to stick to the High Quality1 mode, though it cuts capabilities to 40 pix from 120 with an 8Meg card. I started off up the avenue, snapping pictures as they appeared, the way they do in New York City ... MORE

Took the camera for a long walk in the noonday sun and stayed out
'til sunset, snapping some 100 or so pix with one set of AAs (which is
still going strong.) But I did use the LCD sparingly, until I got home
to a wallplug.
