I took the Bird for the first drive around the neighborhood, then pulled to the back yard to take out the seats and 33 yr old carpet.  Got rich from all the loose change!

 As you can see in the picture below, the front springs are making the front sit too high.  I still lack the front bumper and hood but I don't think it's going to go down much, those spring are very stout.  I will probably be requesting some softer shorter springs.  The rear looks a little high but I will be putting on some taller tires which fill in the fenders much better.
