FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

GTI Opens E-Business Center

October 10, 1999 /PR Newswire/

-- Global Technologies, Inc. (GTI) announced today the establishment of its E-Business Knowledge Center to conduct, document and communicate Internet product and market research to aid companies in integrating electronic commerce (e-commerce) in their overall information technology and marketing strategies.

GTI is a global management and technology consulting business.

``Companies are learning there is much more to e-commerce than just advertising on the Internet or setting up a company Web site. How to harness the Internet and its possibilities can be overwhelming and the information is often fragmented within a company,'' said Dr. K. O. Ghanney, Chairman & CEO, of GTI ``The goal of GTI's E-Business Knowledge Center is to provide a holistic approach to assessing how the Internet can impact our clients' growth as well as our own.''

Studies indicate that by 2001, online retail revenue will reach $17 billion, while business-to-business e-commerce will generate $183 billion. While many companies are selling their products via the Internet, many are not maximizing additional opportunities to reach out to new customers or to conduct business-to-business transactions utilizing e-commerce technologies.

The GTI E-Business Knowledge Center will focus on the following areas of e-commerce:

Strategic consulting services to help clients identify and align their overall business strategy with their IT strategy, while creating new revenue streams utilizing e-business technologies and products,
Network and systems services to evaluate infrastructure and security technologies as they relate to e-business
ERP practice to include sales force automation, product configuration, order management, performance management and corporate portals
Application services to provide the IT professionals experienced in Internet languages and technologies needed to deploy e-commerce products, and
Education services offering advanced training on client/server-based applications, Internet development and infrastructure technologies such as XML and JAVA.

``By establishing a dedicated E-Business Knowledge Center, GTI hopes to drive e-business concepts and offerings into all the business processes of our company and our clients,'' Dr. Ghanney said.
